STANCHION EPS PRODUCTS

First Second and Third Party Switching
Stanchion offers three basic switch management models, differentiated based on the switch ownership option exercised by the client.

First Party

1st PARTY SWITCHING

With 1st party switching the client owns the licenses and provides the hosting.

1st Party Switching places the onus on the retailer or financial institution to design, implement, host and manage the complete Electronic Funds System.

Stanchion EPS can provide unbiased assistance in the design and implementation of such an EFS. Through its Oculus product, Stanchion can provide unparalleled management services of a 1st party switch.

Second Party

2nd PARTY SWITCHING

A 2nd second party switch still requires the institution to purchase its own licenses but the institution chooses to out-source the switch hosting and management..

The hosting infrastructure crucially underpins the switching ability and availability for the institution. There are a number of companies that claim to specialises in providing cost-effective hosting solutions.

Stanchion EPS can assist in assessing potential hosting partners. Again, Stanchion EPS can provide the skilled management services need for Postilion application support that are not available from a hosting partner.

Third Party

3rd PARTY SWITCHING

With 3rd party switching the institution recongnise the crucial nature of a switching solution balanced with the non-core aspect of this service.

The institution chooses to outsource the complete switching functionality to Stanchion EPS, while securing the its business through comprehensive Service Level Agreements.

Your institution's non-core business is Stanchion EPS's core business!
